At Pickering Dental Health Practice all our Staff aim to provide the highest possible standard of care and service in Dentistry to our patients. Our Dental Practice is set in the heart of Pickering – North Yorkshire and is a well established Practice. We treat patients of all ages both NHS and Private. Dentistry today is about prevention of dental problems in both adults and children and creating and protecting your smile for a lifetime. We would encourage you to register your children as early as possible to enable us to build a good patient/dentist relationship. Our dental team is highly motivated and provides a range of treatments including routine restorations and care of your mouth as well as cosmetic treatments, such as tooth whitening, veneers and bonded white fillings. NHS and Private services are available. Please ask at reception for details about joining our Practice. NHS dental treatment includes all treatment necessary to secure and maintain your oral health. We also provide a full range of private treatment options for patients who choose to have cosmetic treatment such as tooth whitening, white fillings, crowns and veneers. The poster on our notice board has information about the cost of NHS treatment. Your dentist will advise you of the cost of any private treatment. We are committed to further education and have once again been awarded the BDA Good Practice Scheme with 2017 being our 10th year with them. Appointments can be made in person or by telephone. We encourage all our patients to attend for an examination on a regular basis as prescribed by your dentist. A treatment plan and estimate will be provided as soon as possible after your appointment. We request that fees are paid as treatment progresses and full payment is expected by the end of treatment. We accept cash or debit/credit cards. At the end of your course of treatment, your dentist will discuss with you when you will need to see a dentist again. NHS dentists now follow guidelines issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
