Alan Barnes BDS Mr Barnes qualified at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1980 and is now a member of the British Dental Association. After a short period working as an associate at an NHS practice in Maryport, Cumbria, he moved to Blackpool. He has worked at the practice for the last 26 years, most of this time he has been in partnership with Mr Denley. He regularly attends dental conferences and lectures, as he feels it is vital to keep up-to-date with the latest dental knowledge. His specialist interests lie in cosmetic dentistry, especially smile makeovers! Louise Chase BDS Louise went to Manchester University in 1990 and then went on to join the practice in 1992, after a year’s vocational training in Ashton-under-Lyne and a brief spell at a practice in Farnworth. She is a part-time associate at the practice, working three days a week. She regularly attends dental courses to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques, especially with cosmetic dentistry.
