Podiatry (also known as chiropody) is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and other disorders of the foot. At Mona Lisa our podiatrists play an important role and are hcpc registered, specialising in the management of the lower limb and foot disorders, and aim to maintain and promote good health in order to help sustain mobility, independence and reduced pain. All our podiatrists care for patients that are at risk of foot problems, due to diabetes, circulation, rheumatoid and high risk foot –which may include ulcers, infection and possible amputation. With patient safety the main priority, We aim to provide first-line treatment and will refer urgent cases within 48 hours to the relevant NHS teams.
